These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SpineClock mobile app. The operator is Samyak Singh. Contact: streamerx047@gmail.com.
By downloading, installing, or using SpineClock, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
SpineClock is a workday break alarm. You set work hours, active days, and a focus interval. When an interval ends, the app can sound an alarm, turn the screen on, and keep the break visible until the phone counts the step goal you set. You can also do short chair, wall, or hallway resets, and the app can record streaks, badges, and an expedition trail.
You may use the basic timer without creating an account. Optional sign-in lets you keep progress if you change phones.
SpineClock is a movement reminder. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent back pain or any other condition. It does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist, or other professional. If you have an injury, pain, or a medical condition, get advice from a qualified professional before you start a movement routine. You use the stretches and walking prompts at your own risk.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SpineClock. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission. The app is not directed at children under 13.
We may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms, abuses the service, or creates a security risk.
You keep ownership of the display name, settings, and progress you create. You give us permission to store and process that information so we can run the app, sync a signed-in account, and restore purchases, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The SpineClock name, logo, illustrations, and app code belong to us or to their licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
The app download is free. Optional paid features are sold as SpineClock Pro through Google Play:
monthly)yearly)lifetime)Pro features currently include skipping the timer during calendar meetings, custom interval lengths, strict step verification, and a custom alarm sound. The exact list is shown in the app before you pay.
If a trial is offered, Play will tell you when it ends and when the paid period starts. If no trial is shown on the Play sheet, there is no trial on that purchase.
The break alarm is the core of the app. For it to work as designed, the phone may need notification access, exact-alarm access, activity/step sensors, and permission to show a full-screen alarm. Calendar access is needed only if you turn on meeting skip.
You can refuse a permission. Features that depend on it will not work, and a break may be late or silent. We are not responsible if the operating system, battery saver, or a missing permission stops an alarm.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep sign-in, sync, and purchases working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features that need the network (account, cloud backup, store purchases) may fail if Firebase, RevenueCat, or Google Play is unavailable. Local timer data on the device still depends on the phone being on and permissions being granted.
We may change, pause, or discontinue features, including Pro features, with notice in the app or on these pages where practical. If we stop offering a paid feature, Play’s refund and subscription rules still apply to charges already made.
Some screens may preview a leaderboard, arena, or other feature that is not live yet. A preview is not a promise that the feature will ship, or that it will work the way the preview shows.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that alarms will always fire on time, that step counts will match another pedometer, or that cloud restore will be complete in every case.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or missed alarms. Our total liability for a claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for SpineClock Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or if you paid nothing, to zero. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the minimum the law requires.
You are responsible for how you use the movement prompts, including whether walking or stretching is appropriate for you.
You can stop using the app at any time. You can delete your account in Settings, or email streamerx047@gmail.com. See the Privacy Policy for what we delete.
We may stop providing the app or close an account that violates these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payments already due, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use the app after an update, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and delete your account.
